10 BEST SHOWS OF 2021/22 THEATER SEASON

I typically post an annual Best 10 list in December, but due to Covid and the resulting closure of most stage productions until the outset of the fall 2021 theater season, I did not post any such list in 2020 or 2021.  However, given the ramping up of stagings in the 2021/22 theater season (which runs from May 2021 to May 2022), I offer my below list of my 10 favorite productions of the 21/22 theater season.
