Shaina Taub's "As You Like It" @PublicTheaterNY is a joyous, magical & hugely entertaining example of what #PublicWorks does best. The adaptation is faithful to the play's main beats, but transforms the play into a superior piece of musical theater. Ms. Taub's score is witty, tuneful and catchy, and the direction flows swiftly and effortlessly despite the huge cast. I wish I could see it again, alas its run is far too brief.
